Ark reports 94% combined ratio in Q1 along with 28% GWP growth
White Mountains-owned Ark improved its combined ratio to 94 percent in the first quarter from 100 percent in the prior-year period on lower cats as it generated strong top-line growth in a period that also saw recently launched sidecar WM Outrigger Re’s results included for the first time.
